Arthritis

Arthritis is a condition characterized by the inflammation of one or more joints, leading to pain, stiffness, and decreased mobility. Chiropractic care can help manage arthritis by improving joint function, reducing inflammation, and enhancing overall mobility through targeted spinal adjustments and therapeutic exercises, and lifestyle modifications. At RSW we take a holistic approach to managing arthritis which includes the use of therapeutic massage, dietary guidance, and even IV hydration and vitamin therapy.

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome occurs when the median nerve is compressed at the wrist, causing pain, numbness, and tingling in the hand and fingers. Chiropractic treatments can alleviate symptoms by addressing misalignments in the wrist, elbow, and cervical spine, resulting in reduced nerve pressure and improved hand function.

Sciatica

Sciatica is characterized by pain radiating along the sciatic nerve, which extends from the lower back down to the legs. Chiropractic care focuses on relieving pressure on the sciatic nerve through spinal adjustments, therapeutic exercises, and other modalities, helping to reduce pain and improve mobility.

Degenerative Disc Disease

Degenerative Disc Disease involves the deterioration of spinal discs, leading to pain and reduced flexibility. Chiropractic care can help manage symptoms by improving spinal alignment, promoting disc health, and reducing inflammation, thus enhancing overall spinal function, disc health, and comfort.

Headaches/Migraines

Headaches and migraines can be triggered by various factors, everything from hormone fluctuations to spinal misalignments. Chiropractic adjustments can help reduce the frequency and severity of headaches by addressing underlying spinal issues, promoting better nerve function, and reducing muscle tension.

Vertigo

Vertigo is a sensation of dizziness or spinning that can significantly impact daily life. The type of vertigo will be determined by the trigger of symptoms. Central vertigo occurs when there are issues within the central nervous system. Peripheral vertigo typically occurs when there are issues within the inner ear causing issues with balance. Chiropractic care can help alleviate vertigo symptoms by realigning the cervical spine and improving nervous system function, which can restore balance and reduce dizziness.

TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint Disorder)

TMJ disorder causes pain and dysfunction in the jaw joint and muscles controlling jaw movement. Chiropractic care can help reduce TMJ pain and improve jaw function through gentle adjustments, soft tissue therapy, and exercises that promote proper alignment and muscle balance.

Subluxations

Subluxations are misalignments of the vertebrae that interfere with nerve function and overall health. Chiropractic adjustments correct these misalignments, restoring proper spinal alignment, enhancing nerve function, and promoting overall well-being.

Neuropathy

Neuropathy involves nerve damage from compression or poor circulation that causes pain, numbness, or weakness, often in the hands and feet. Chiropractic care can help improve nerve function and reduce neuropathic symptoms through spinal adjustments, nutritional support, and lifestyle modifications.

Pinched Nerve

A pinched nerve occurs when surrounding tissues apply excessive pressure on a nerve, leading to pain and dysfunction. Chiropractic adjustments can relieve this pressure, alleviate pain, and restore proper nerve function.

Pain

Chronic or acute pain can stem from various musculoskeletal issues. Chiropractic care focuses on identifying and treating the root cause of pain through spinal adjustments, soft tissue therapy, and holistic treatments, providing effective relief and improving quality of life.
