Post-viral syndrome is a condition where individuals experience prolonged fatigue and other symptoms after recovering from a viral infection. Symptoms may include muscle aches, joint pain, headaches, and cognitive difficulties. The exact cause is unknown, but it is believed that the body’s immune response to the virus may trigger ongoing health issues.
COVID Long Haulers Syndrome, or Long COVID, refers to the persistence of symptoms weeks or months after the initial COVID-19 infection. Common symptoms include fatigue, shortness of breath, brain fog, joint pain, and chest pain. This syndrome can affect individuals of all ages, including those who had mild or asymptomatic initial infections and can significantly impact daily functioning and quality of life.
Fibromyalgia is a chronic condition characterized by widespread musculoskeletal pain, fatigue, and tenderness in localized areas. Other symptoms include sleep disturbances, cognitive difficulties (often referred to as “fibro fog”), and mood disorders. The exact cause is unknown, but it is thought to involve a combination of genetic, environmental, and psychological factors.
Lyme disease is an infectious disease caused by the bacterium Borrelia burgdorferi, transmitted through the bite of infected black-legged ticks. Early symptoms include fever, headache, fatigue, and a characteristic bull’s-eye rash. If untreated, the infection can spread to the joints, heart, and nervous system, leading to more severe symptoms and complications.
Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV) is a common virus best known for causing infectious mononucleosis (mono). Symptoms of an acute EBV infection include severe fatigue, fever, sore throat, swollen lymph nodes, and swollen liver or spleen. EBV is part of the herpes virus family and remains dormant in the body after the initial infection, potentially reactivating and contributing to other conditions, such as certain cancers and autoimmune diseases.
POTS is a condition that affects the autonomic nervous system, which controls involuntary functions like heart rate and blood pressure. It is characterized by a significant increase in heart rate when transitioning from lying down to standing up.

Late Cancellations and No-Shows: If you cancel or reschedule with less than 48 hours’ notice, or if you miss your appointment without notice, a 20% fee of the visit cost will apply.
